As a developer, a licensed new home builder, and a licensed real estate professional, I pride myself on finding the right location, at the right time, and the right price, resulting in record-breaking sales and profits throughout New York, Connecticut, and even New Zealand. Over the past ten years, my completed projects have won multiple awards, which illustrates my commitment to recurring and new clientele, and my research and knowledge of the ever-changing real estate market.

Finding the city's hidden gems is one of my greatest passions, and am driven by creating real value on behalf of my grateful and loyal clientele.

Broken Shed Vodka:
After moving my family to New Zealand in 2008, the concept of 'Made in New Zealand' made its mark as my newest inspiration. Greatly influenced by the incredibly clean and beautiful surroundings, I wanted to pack and ship a little taste to my friends back home. As a result, I founded Broken Shed Vodka in 2009, an internationally acclaimed vodka company. Created with water from the Southern Alps, solely renewable resources, and without GMOs, additives, chemicals, gluten, and added sugars, it is the only award-winning vodka created as pure as New Zealand.

Network Dynamics:
One of my first entrepreneurial ventures in 1987, I founded Network Dynamics; a highly profitable executive search firm headquartered in New York City. Working with IT professionals in sales and programming positions, the business grew to $4M in revenue and quickly expanded into the contract programming industry. In 2001, Network Dynamics launched Eclaro, an IT contract consulting firm in New York City.

As always, even my passion for charities is influenced by my children. At age 11 while living in New Zealand, my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Ronald McDonald House became our temporary home, for which I am eternally grateful. With their support and medical advancements, my daughter is now entering her young adult years and loving life. In addition to Ronald McDonald House, I support the Cancer Research Institute in hopes of one day finding a cure.

I am lucky enough to have a beautiful family of five children. We love to adventure, travel and explore new cities. Adventure is in the O'Brien blood, so we picked up and moved to New Zealand. Coming from New York City and Greenwich, CT, we appreciated the vastness of New Zealand and welcomed the change of pace. Although New Zealand will always have a place in my heart, New York City will always be my home. All of my ventures have been inspired by my children...maybe even the vodka.
